Bridging the Gap

We are dedicated to bridging the gap in the current technological and resulting economic divide. We do this by providing one of the only fully comprehensive, 100% free, online coding boot camp to the top 10% of diverse talent, from some of our most untapped and severely underestimated communities. We provide our students with access to tools, expert mentors and guidance, as well as, real life-changing projects, skills testing and group experiences. Our goal is to empower our students to pursue careers in technology by providing them with the skills and experience they need to become entry level Front and Backend Developers. Our aim is to create economic stability within these untapped and financially displaced communities by providing new access points to opportunity through self-improvement.

Our Step-by-Step Process

Recruiting: We’ve fine tuned our recruiting process to create a multi-level evaluation process that weeds out the bottom 90% at each level. Our process includes several interviews, transcripts, essay and recommendation review, as well as, skills testing. Our target demographic for students are:

  • 1. Low-income, minority students between the ages of 18 and 26
  • 2. Low-income, minority single parents, between the ages of 26 and 34
  • 3. Low-income, minority veterans, between the ages of 26 and 34

Support: Along with our comprehensive, streamlined curriculum and learning tools, we have partnered with various leaders in the tech and marketing sectors to provide ongoing, individual and group mentoring to every class.
Career Counseling: The last two weeks of every cohort will focus on final projects, group and individual career counseling. Each student will be trained and vigorously tested on various pre-employment skills tests as well as two simulated work scenarios to ensure skills retention and mastery.
